We preserve flowers from funerals, memorial services and celebrations of life by pressing them. Each one is rebuilt by hand petal by petal and framed, so a family can keep something from the day rather than watch it go.
Bring us the flowers as soon as you can. Fresh flowers press best, and many families find it a relief to hand the arrangements to us right away.
You do not need a large frame. Memorial orders carry a $350 minimum and no main piece is required. Many families choose several smaller keepsakes instead.
More than one person can keep something. From a single arrangement we can make several pieces, so a daughter, a sister and a friend can each hold on to a part of the same flowers.
We can make it personal in any way you would like. A Bible verse, a handwritten note, a photograph or a piece of the service program can be included in the design. Anything placed into a piece becomes part of it, so please send a copy if the original matters.
Your flowers are pressed, and every flower is rebuilt petal by petal so it looks full again rather than flat. Color is corrected by hand with artist pigments. Framed pieces are finished behind UV conservation glass, which blocks up to 99% of UV rays and slows the natural fading that reaches every pressed flower in time.
Drying alone takes 2 to 4 months depending on the flowers, and most pieces are complete in about six months.
