Privacy policy

Preserve My Petals LLC collects what we need to make your piece and get it back to you.

What we collect. Your name, email address, postal address and phone number. The details of your order, including your event date, the names of the people the piece is for, and, for memorial orders, the name of the person being remembered. Photographs of your flowers that you send us. For weddings, the names of your florist, planner, venue and photographer, and your Instagram handle if you give it to us. How you heard about us. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments and we never see or store your full card number.

What we do with it. We use it to make your piece, to send your contract, your drop-off instructions and updates while your flowers are with us, and to arrange collection or delivery when it is finished. We use your email address to ask for a review after your piece is delivered. We use your answer about how you found us to understand which of our work is reaching people.

Photographs of your flowers and your finished piece. When you place an order, you agree that we may use images of your flowers and your finished piece in our own marketing, including our website, social media, printed materials, advertising, contests and exhibitions. For weddings, this includes wedding photographs you share with us. If you give us your Instagram handle, we may tag you when we share your piece. If you would rather we did not share images of your piece, tell us at any time and we will not.

Who we share it with. We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services we need to run the studio: Shopify for the store and payments, HoneyBook for contracts, Brevo for email, specialist craftspeople who help us produce certain pieces, and the carrier if your piece is shipped. We do not use your information to advertise to you on other websites.

Marketing email. We only send marketing email to people who have asked for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and we act on it immediately. Unsubscribing never affects the emails about your own order, which are part of the service you bought.

How long we keep things. Order records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@preservemypetals.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in California, this includes your rights under the CCPA, and we do not sell personal information as that law defines it.

Cookies. Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working and to understand which pages people visit. You can turn them off in your browser, though the cart will stop working if you do.

Children. Our store is not intended for anyone under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
