From the Kalamazoo area

We have already preserved flowers for clients from Kalamazoo and Portage.

Getting your flowers to us from Kalamazoo

At about two and a half hours each way, shipping is usually easier than driving. Choose shipping at checkout so we can send your finished piece back to you. Then send your flowers as soon as you can after your event, ideally the next day, by overnight or 2-day shipping. We prefer UPS, and any UPS Store can take your box. After you book, we email our address and a one-page packing guide, so a parent or a friend can do the shipping for you.

Would you rather drive? Our porch drop box is open the Monday after your event, any time between 7am and 7pm, with no appointment needed.

How your piece gets home

Finished pieces ship by UPS Ground, packed box in box on firm foam and insured for its value. If anything arrives damaged, email us a photo within 48 hours of delivery.

What we actually do

Your bouquet is never pressed the way it arrives. We take it apart, press every flower, then rebuild each one petal by petal so roses and peonies look full again rather than flat. We correct color by hand with artist pigments, and every framed piece is finished in solid wood behind UV conservation glass that blocks up to 99% of UV rays.

Drying alone takes 2 to 4 months depending on the flowers, and most pieces are complete in about six months.

The honest part

Pressing changes color, and nothing stops that completely. Bright colors hold. Whites settle into a creamier, vintage tone. Reds and burgundies deepen. Our color correction and the conservation glass slow it considerably.

If your event has already happened

That is most people. Get in touch and tell us when it was and what condition the flowers are in, and we will give you a straight answer about whether they can still be saved. Flowers from a funeral or memorial service? See memorial flower preservation.
